More info about Wine red wine Casa Castillo Monastrell 2019 - wine outlet
Tasting Note:
Cherry color cherry.
Aroma of red fruits, lactic, balsamic tones.
Tasty, powerful mouth, good tannins a little drying, bitter bottom.
Elaboration and aging:
100% monastrell from the valley area. Fermented in stainless steel tanks with temperature control, short fermentation and soft maceration of the skins, followed by a short aging in French and American oak, with the aim of obtaining a fresh wine highlighting the primary aromas of Monastrell.
The Winery
Casa Castillo, which is one of the most significant wineries in Jumilla, has become increasingly famous since its first harvest in 1991. The family that owns it started a project to produce quality wines in 1985. The old buildings were rebuilt and replaced by more modern wineries.
