CURIOSITIES
Since 2010, Silvio Denz and the Danish winemaker Peter Sisseck (producer of Pingus de Ribera del Duero) have jointly presided over the destinies of Château ROCHEYRON, a historic estate located on the plateau of the great wines of Saint-Émilion. The two men combine their know-how to ensure that these 8.45 hectares of vineyards show their full potential every year. In biodynamic viticulture since 2014, the estate switches three years later to biodyvin conversion and successfully obtains the Organic Agriculture certification of the 2020 harvest. At Rocheyron, the duo and their team work closely with the vineyards to give an increasingly accurate interpretation of this terroir.
