TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: Intense cherry colour.
- Nose: Aromas of black fruit, spices and coffee accompanied by smoky and toasted notes.
- Palate: Sweet entry, with great volume and expression. Polished and well-integrated tannins. A friendly and persistent finish.
ELABORATION
Varieties: Tinta del País and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Brewing for 25-30 days and then aged for 16 months in French and American oak barrels.
It completes its aging with a year and a half of resting in the bottle.
CURIOSITIES
At an altitude between 700 and 1,000 metres, the winery's vineyard is located. A vineyard of more than 20 years and with a majority of Tinta del País grapes. Variety that is characterized by its balance in tannins and lack of oxidases, which gives it a stable color.
The vineyard is oenologically differentiated into 21 plots, depending on the type of soil, the variety and the orientation of each of them. It is made up of iron-poor sands, of low fertility, which results in scarce but high quality productions.
