TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: Intense cherry colour with violet tones.
- Nose: Complex and persistent with aromas of black fruit, toasted, coffee, spices, red caramel, woods and aromatic herbs.
- Palate: Powerful, tasty and very fruity. Elegant notes of compote, cocoa, mint and coffee spice the way to a broad and persistent finish.
PRODUCTION
100% Tinta del País variety.Grapes from Las Tenadas (La Horra, Burgos). Malolactic fermentation and subsequent ageing for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
CURIOSITIES
All these particularities contribute TO THE STYLE OF VIÑA SASTRE WINE. Resolutely rich, dense, fatty, due to the earliness of its terroir, but also elegant, distinguished, pure and with a lot of freshness thanks to the Tinto Fino and the perfectly balanced composition (limestone / sand) of its soils.
