CURIOSITIES
Dominio del Aguila is a winery owned by Jorge Monzón, who together with his wife Isabel Rodero make different wines. After his time in France (the Romanee Conti) he returned to the Ribera del Duero where he coincided with a new perspective of Nacho Arzuaga for the wines of the winery and meanwhile he was buying plots with old vineyards in glass (it is important that the vines remain in glass) that cared for and sold the grapes to the best of the place. A small winery that makes some of the great wines of the area.
Each strain is taken care of so that it expresses the land where it grows, including white vines that enter, and the elaboration is taken care of so that nothing is false, "it does not even have a destemmer" says Luis Gutiérrez (The Wine Advocate - taster of Robert Parker) of the winery that he declares as "the smallest in the world".
