CATA's notes:
Color: Brilliant straw yellow with mineral reflections.
Nose: it has an aromatic explosion. As if it were a spring walk, it reminds us of the freshness of pure air, a bouquet of white flowers (roses, jasmine...), orange blossom, apricot, the forest... all covered in a honeyed and full atmosphere of freshness, with a shy mineral glow and an enveloping reminiscence of infusions and a citrus breeze.
Mouth: Its honeyed air envelops us, its freshness and acidity, a soft, unctuous and flexible touch at the same time. Long and unctuous aftertaste with memories of white flowers and citrus skin.
Elaboration:
Made with the Muscat de Frontigan, Muscat de Alejandría, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer varieties, cold pre-fermentative film macerations are carried out in order to achieve maximum aromatic extraction, followed by gentle pressing, where only the free run juice is obtained. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 15ºC. Cold fermentation stop in order to preserve six grams of residual sugar per liter.
ecology and sustainability
For Gramona, wine is a way of feeling and sharing, of relating to the world and the environment that surrounds them. That is why they take care of the vineyards, working their land through organic and biodynamic agriculture. In addition, they also use sustainable practices in the winery, such as reducing the weight of the containers - which implies a reduction in the carbon footprint in their transport -, the use of renewable energies - such as solar energy -. All this helps them to maintain a rich and varied ecosystem, so beneficial for the environment and, therefore, for the grapes used to make the wines.
