More info about Wine white wine Zaleo Solera 2016 - buy wine ribera del guadiana
Tasting notes:
Yellow color with dark golden touches typical of his old age.
Good intensity aromas of nuts and fine woods.
In nose with complexity and slight herbaceous notes.
In mouth it is quite balanced and with touches of elegance, one notices the upbringing and "solera" of the wine, the end is with much persistence.
Elaboration and Ageing:
A wine of solera that was made there since the cooperative was founded sixty years ago. A small percentage is taken from it every year and it can be said that there is a small proportion of this old wine from 60 years ago. The average age of the solera is 30 years old.
It is a question of recovering a very important tradition in the wine sector in Extremadura, as it is the wine of solera. There have always been wineries in the villages that made solera wine and there were people in the village that drank solera. But with the passing of the years this tradition has been lost and it even began to be identified with something old-fashioned, strong, not suitable for a current taste. And in fact the wines from Jerez and Montilla-Moriles have suffered a sharp decline in the last decade for the same reasons.
