The Rioja Viña Tonodnia Reserva in tin format is ideal as a gift and has the necessary characteristics to become a Gran Reserva with the passage of time. Thus, 20 years from now we will see these bottles sporting the much-appreciated Gran Reserva blue stripe. A long ageing in barrel and bottle, which reflects the winery's experience in obtaining smooth, round, well-developed red wines with a long ageing capacity.

Nose: Very fine, fresh, toasty nose with light vanilla aromas. Very persistent.

Winemaking and ageing:
Produced with Tempranillo (70%), Garnacho (20%), Graciano and Mazuelo (10%) varieties from its own vineyards.
Viña Tondonia was the first brand of the house and is also, in essence, the main vineyard, a beautiful vineyard of over 100 hectares, located on the right bank of the river Ebro, forming a landscape of alluvium, limestone and poplars, which the founder of the winery, Don Rafael López de Heredia y Landeta, planted in the years 1913-1914 in his desire to ensure quality at its source, the vineyard, in which the work is carried out manually.
Aged for 6 years, with 2 rackings per year. Clarified with fresh egg whites, bottled unfiltered.
