ELABORATION
100% Tempranillo variety.
Fermentation and maceration for 4 months in clay jars.
Aged for 6 months in 600 litre oak barrels.
CURIOSITIES
The Pequeñita Tempranillo is made by winemakers Alonso and Pedrajo in Villalba de Rioja, eastern part of the Montes Obarenes. In the highest areas of the region are the vineyards of Finca la Cala, at 600 meters of altitude where they make wines with great potential.
Their wines are made with minimal intervention, passing through old clay jars and used barrels, in this way they capture the character and personality of the land.
